Best for

  • Tips, opinions and storytimes filmed to camera
  • Rambling takes that need to get to the point
  • Several takes of the same message
  • Educational and explainer videos

Skip it if

  • Your video is mostly visuals with little talking (try Auto or a visual recipe)
  • It's a back-and-forth conversation (try Q&A or Funny moments)

What Talk it through does

When you talk to camera, the message is usually in there, surrounded by restarts, tangents and the same point made twice. Talk it through finds your main point and keeps the sentences that support it. Everything else goes:

  • Tangents and digressions that don't serve the point
  • Repeated points you already made
  • Pauses, filler words, false starts and retakes

Two cuts

  • Short cut: opens with your strongest line as the hook and ends on a clear takeaway or punchline, not mid-thought.
  • Full cut: flows as one talk, with an intro, ideas that build on each other in order, and your close.

Make it yours

Frequently asked questions

Does Talk it through remove filler words and pauses?

Yes. Like every cutzio recipe, it cuts pauses, "um"s, false starts and retakes. Talk it through goes further and drops digressions and points you already made.

How is the Short cut different from the Full cut?

The Short cut opens with your strongest line as the hook and ends on a clear takeaway or punchline. The Full cut flows as one talk: an intro, ideas that build on each other, and your close.

Can I keep a specific take?

Yes. Add a note such as "keep my best take" or describe the line you want kept.
